EDU, Inc. has launched a national GET EDUcated! campaign designed to bring together professional athletes, entertainers, politicians, educators, corporations, and community leaders to focus attention on the importance of students graduating from high school and when possible going on to college.

In many urban school districts throughout the country, drop out rates have reached epidemic proportions. It is imperative students understand the importance of an education and the role a college degree can play in helping them to secure a future.

GET EDUcated! related activities include:

• Radio and television public service announcements.

• Posters featuring various celebrities are sent to middle and high schools.

• Workshops conducted in middle and high schools nationwide.

• City wide events including EDU, Inc. Dance-2-Learn Competitions, Getting African American Males Educated (G.A.M.E.) Initiatives.

• Community based seminars.

• College Financial Aid Expos (CFAX).
